The 250th Anniversary A Series Guitar
This stunning guitar is made with the very finest quality German spruce top, from a 1978 stock given to me by Julian Bream in 2001. It has beautiful quarter-sawn Brazilian rosewood back and sides, a highly flamed and figured maple neck with ebony head, fingerboard and edging and with Rodgers tuners specially designed and made for my A Series guitars. The guitar is finished in my own amber oil varnish. It also has extra special horn and bone inlays unique to this guitar.
The hand written label states that this is the ‘‘No. 250 special edition’’ and the guitar also comes with an additional certificate and a professional studio photograph.
This guitar recently sold for £ 7000. Even though it has been sold, several friends have suggested that other players might be interested in seeing what went into this magnificent guitar, so it shall remain on the site.
