Southwell Guitars
About This Site
Everything you ever wanted to know about this site and probably a few things more.
The coding was done with HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). The
HTML code has been validated against the W3C specification 4.01 transitional
DTD. The CSS code has been validated against the latest W3C specification
for Cascading Style Sheets. For this reason, we display the validation
emblems.
If things look a bit strange in your browser, it could be for two reasons. First, you may be using an older version of the browser which doesn't recognize CSS. Or, you may have CSS and/or images turned off in your preferences.
If you are using Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator versions earlier than 4.0, may we suggest downloading the latest version. Both IE is at version 7. Netscape has version 9. Firefox, the new kid on the block, is at version 2.0. These versions have some very powerful options and features. And, they are free. Just go to Netscape Browser Central or Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox.
If you have the latest browser but things still look strange, be sure you have CSS and images turned on. Accepting the images is really the best way to appreciate the beauty of Southwell Guitars (both the site and the instruments.)
When sound bites are added to the Discography page, they will be in MP3 format for faster loading and better quality.
