This is a reproduction of the guitar now in the Paris Conservatoire collection, by the famous Spanish maker Antonio de Torres Jurado (1817-1892). It has a spruce soundboard, a 4 piece flamed maple back and sides, mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard. An intricate rosette and purfling design and a rosewood bridge with mother of pearl inlay go to make this a stunning looking guitar. It has a string length of 65cm. As well as this copy I also offer a Torres style guitar based on this 1883 model, but with a choice of simpler decoration and different wood options such as birds eye maple, rosewood or cypress.
