Heartwood
A star studded collection of classical and acoustic guitarists have come together to celebrate the work of guitar maker Gary Southwell in Heartwood.
Heartwood is an eclectic musical journey, recorded by 9 different artists all playing Gary’s iconic Fenland Black Oak (or Bog Oak) A Series guitars.
Tracks were sent from guitarists around the world and brought together to create this wonderful and varied compilation.
Heartwood also has an 8 page booklet with Gary writing about the creation of these guitars, a contribution from US poet Hannah Bissell and featuring lots of beautiful photographs of the guitars.
